    • Welcome Back Teachers

    The Promotions & Events Committee will be assembling bags to give to DL teachers to “welcome” them back to school.  If you would like to provide coupons, gift certificates of items for the bags, please bring 320 to the Chamber Office by August 15.  You can also donate a door prize.  For questions, call the Chamber Office at 218-847-9202/


    • Young Life Triathlon – Aug. 18 & 19

    The Lakes Area Younglife is looking for energetic volunteers to help cheer on and support Triathlon racers as they take on the long Olympic-length course, August 18 and 19 in Detroit Lakes. For more information please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/younglifetriathlonvolunteer/ 


    School Supply Drive A school supply drive is being conducted to benefit Lakes area students in need.  If you know a family in need, contact Annie at 218-847-5628 ext. 5419, to get a voucher.  Supplies are being collected until August 22 at Midwest Bank, Edward Jones – Dani Fergen Office (1252 Washington Ave.), Anytime Fitness, Becker County & Active Nutrition.  Volunteers are needed to help with distribution.
